CLUE Project Presented at the CAPTURE Workshop

CLUE partner Daniel Choukroun (from ELCAT) presented an oral presentation on Capture workshop held at Ghent.

The workshop titled “Considerations and Trajectories of Energy Use in Carbon Capture and Reuse” convened experts, researchers, and stakeholders who were passionate about addressing the challenges of carbon emissions and advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Daniel shed light on a zero-gap design for better C2+ product selectivity from the electrochemical reduction of CO2. He also introduced the importance of the electrode’s configuration, as well as the understanding catalyst behavior in different configuration under various conditions.

The workshop offered an opportunity for making connections from academic, industry and government agencies to delve into key considerations surrounding energy use in carbon capture and explore potential trajectories for enhancing efficiency and scalability.
